Email, Titus and evidence
My email account has 21 GB of stuff. It's been around for about 20 years. But accumulation his slowed somewhat, since fewer people use email. A shame!
Yesterday, I finished a detailed reading of the gospel of Mark, begun 7 Nov. of last year. Today, I'll start on Titus in the same way. Why Titus? I was reading a verse in the letter and it just came to me. Not an inspired thought, just a good idea, it seemed.
How can people reach opposite conclusions from the same evidence? Because one, or both, is superimposing upon that evidence presuppositions brought in from the outside that dispute or contradict it. So an interpretative lens is inserted that prevents the viewer from letting the evidence lead to the proper conclusion.
A friend in need.
A prayer to Heaven.
An ear to listen.
Anguish shared.
