Sun shines, rain falls, rinse, repeat. Strange day it is. ¶ Not everyone agrees but this author in the Asbury commentary is correct: “Titus 1:7 clearly indicates that an overseer (episkopos) and an elder (presbuteros) are interchangeable titles for the same office.” ¶ In the quote, I'd exchange “function” for ”office” but let's not be too nitpicky. ¶ Praying that MrsM has a restful trip home.
