Sunday night

Fine night with the saints at Northside (Zona Norte, to be exact). We picked up two people on the way, one a Christian, the other not. Then dropped them off afterwards on the way home.

Conversations before and afterward are always good, often helpful. A big part of fellowship, too.

We don't usually get home until 10.30 pm, which is fine. But I usually move later and slower the next day. Fine, too.

Tomorrow is supposed to bring us lower temps. I'm ready for them.

Mum felt better, went to church this morning. So glad to hear that.

If you want to be popular, the road has already been paved: “God loves you. He's merciful. Love God and live as you want. He is forgiving. Nobody's perfect. Worship God in the way that best suits you.” Stuff like that.

Repentance, obedience, faithfulness are not cool words these days. If they ever were.

God has not changed. He is faithful. His holiness is undimmed. His zeal burns as hot as ever. With him there is no guesswork. We know where we stand. He opens the way back in Christ. On his terms. They are wonderful ones. Let us be grateful.
