Once you start wondering

Once you start wondering if you did or said something that caused someone to turn away from you, there’s no return from such a mental wormhole and no end to the imagination.

When the big things in life are topsy-turvy, the small routines and pleasant details grow in importance and bring relief.

Authority is one thing, oppression another, whether it be government, religion, marriage, or business.

If we cannot find our identity, meaning, and purpose in a relationship (i.e., communion) with God in Christ, we will search for it elsewhere and never be whole nor wholly able to relate properly to others.

Just remembered that I had not begun a new document for 2025 poetry. Maybe I won’t this year.

It may well be that the more the Lord God allows you to be broken, the more he believes you can be useful to him.
